Ingredients
- 3 pounds (1.3 kg) pork loin roast
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound (455 g) whole berry cranberry sauce
- ¼ cup (85 g) honey
- 1 tsp grated orange peel
- 1/8 teaspoon cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Method
- Cut roast in half and place in a slow cooker; sprinkle with pepper
- Combine the remaining ingredients; pour over roast
- Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 160°F (71°C)
- Let stand 10 minutes before slicing
- Yield: 9 servings
- Per serving: 144 g water; 299 calories (20% from fat, 43% from protein, 37% from carb)
