Corn N Bacon Sticks Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 1
  • 2 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 pound bacon – crisply fried and
  • 8 ounces cream-style corn – canned
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter – melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

Method

  1. Heat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Mix baking mix, bacon and corn until soft dough forms; beat vigorously 30 seconds.
  3. Turn onto cloth-covered board well dusted with baking mix.
  4. Knead 5 times.
  5. Roll into rectangle, 12×6 inches.
  6. Cut dough lengthwise into halves with knife dipped in baking mix.
  7. Cut each half into sixteen 3/4″ strips.
  8. Place in ungreased jelly roll pan.
  9. Mix margarine and garlic salt; brush strips with half of the mixture.
  10. Bake until golden brown, about 12 minutes.
  11. Brush strips with remaining margarine mixture.
  12. Serve hot.
  13. Makes 32 appetizers.
