Ingredients
- 3 pounds (1.3 kg) chicken, cut-up
- ¼ cup (55 g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsps (15 g) Italian dressing mix
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
- 1 tbsp (3 g) oregano
Method
- Place chicken in bottom of slow cooker
- Mix melted butter, dressing mix, and lemon juice together and pour over top of chicken
- Cover and cook on high for 4 to 6 hours or until chicken is tender but not dry
- Baste occasionally with sauce mixture and sprinkle with oregano 1 hour before done
- Yield: 6 servings
- Per serving: 175 g water; 340 calories (40% from fat, 59% from protein, 1% from carb)
