Chocolate Walnut Drop Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- Serving Size : 1
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine – softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate – melted and cooled
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Method
- Confectioners’ sugar
- In large bowl of mixer cream butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt until fluffy.
- Beat in chocolate until well blended.
- Stir in flour and nuts.
- Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2″ apart on well-greased cookie sheet.
- Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 10 minutes or until edges are crisp
- Cool 1 minute before removing to rack to cool.
- Sift confectioners’ sugar over tops.
- Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
