Chiourico Soup Portuguese Soup Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 beef soup bone
- 3 chopped onions
- 1 minced clove garlic
- 1 lb. chiourico, chopped
- a bunch of kale.
- 3 to 4 potatoes, cubed
- salt and pepper to taste.
- 2 1/2 qt. water or beef broth
- 1 c. macaroni
Method
- Combine all ingredients except macaroni and simmer for 4 hours
- Half hour before serving, add the macaroni and shred the beef from the soup bone
- Serves 6 to 8 people
