Cashew Cream Indian Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews, soaked overnight
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup water

Method

  1. Drain the cashews and add to a high speed blender
  2. Add 1/4 cup water and blend to a smooth cream
  3. Add a tablespoon more water if needed
  4. Refrigerate and store for up to a week
  5. Variation: to make cashew milk: Blend 1 cup soaked cashews with 2 cups of water until smooth
  6. Add 1 to 2 more cups of water and blend in to get the desired consistency
