Does standing at your desk burn calories? Well of course. However standing at your desk burns significantly fewer calories than you might think if compared to sitting. Given the likelihood of back and joint issues it doesn’t make a lot of sense. There are ways in which you can exercise by using your desk and chair! You will find so very many blogs with exercises to do at you desk, and don't get me wrong, they have their place, especially for muscle ache etc., but when it comes to burning calories at work, you need to find a better way. Likewise with occupation that are sedentary but not necessarily sitting.
