Broccoli In Savory Mushroom Butter Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- Serving Size : 1
- 3 packages frozen broccoli spears
- 1/2 cup sweet cream butter
- 2 1/2 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon
- 2 medium onions – sliced and
- 1 jar sliced mushrooms – drained
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon chopped pimento
Method
- Cook broccoli according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, in large skillet melt butter; stir in chicken bouillon, onions and mushrooms.
- Sauti until onions are crisply tender.
- Dissolve cornstarch in water; stir into vegetable mixture.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
- Stir in pimento.
- Serve over hot broccoli.
