Ingredients

  • ¼ cup (46 g) barley
  • ¼ cup (25 g) bulgur
  • ¼ cup (20 g) rolled oats
  • ¼ cup (29 g) wheat germ
  • ¼ cup (25 g) chopped almonds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 705 ml apple juice
  • 1 cup (235 ml) water

Method

  1. Combine everything in the slow cooker
  2. Cook on low for 10 to 12 hours
  3. Yield: 4 servings
  4. Per serving: 248 g water; 274 calories (19% from fat, 11% from protein, 70% from carb)
