In recent years apple cider vinegar has gained popularity as a tonic that can relieve various health problems and even help you lose weight. Some of these allegations have been proven scientifically, others have been rejected and others remain without evidence of any sort.
Responsible for starting the furore over the many benefits of apple cider vinegar was perhaps Dr. DC Jarvis, when he published his book “Folk Medicine: A Vermont Doctor’s Guide to Good Health” in the late 1950s. Since then several food stores and supermarkets sell apple cider vinegar either bottled or capsules.
In my opinion there is very little benefit from buying Apple Cider capsules. The quantity involved is way too small for any real health benefits.
