Beef Stroganoff Fat-Free Recipe

Ingredients

Serving Size : 4

  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 1 Pound Tenderloin, Beef – cut in pieces
  • 1/2 Cup Onions – diced
  • 1 Clove Garlic – minced
  • 8 Ounces Fresh Mushrooms – sliced
  • 1 Can Beef Consomme
  • 1/4 Cup Dry Sherry
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream

Method

  1. Paprika
  2. Melt butter over medium high heat in a deep saute pan.
  3. Place flour in a plastic bag.
  4. Add tips to flour.
  5. Close bag and shake.
  6. Saute onions and garlic in butter for a few minutes.
  7. Add tips and mushrooms to pan and brown lightly.
  8. Stir in consomme and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes.
  9. Add sherry and cream and cook an additional 5 minutes.
  10. Sprinkle paprika over Stroganoff, stir and serve over noodles.
