Beef Rollups Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds (1.8 kg) beef round steak
  • 800 g stuffing, prepared according to package directions
  • 20 ounces (560 g) low-salt cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups 475 ml water

Method

  1. Cut steak into 12 long pieces
  2. Pound each piece until thin and flattened
  3. Place 1/3 cup (65 g) prepared stuffing on each slice of meat
  4. Roll up and fasten with toothpick
  5. Place in slow cooker
  6. In a bowl, mix soup and water together and then pour over steak
  7. Cover and cook on high 4 to 6 hours or until meat is tender but not overcooked
  8. Yield: 12 servings
  9. Per serving: 231 g water; 335 calories (32% from fat, 46% from protein, 22% from carb)
