Beef Roast With Apples Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds (1.3 kg) beef round roast
  • 1 cup (235 ml) water
  • 1 tsp Salt-Free Seasoning Blend
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 apples, quartered
  • 1 cup (160 g) sliced onion

Method

  1. In a large nonstick skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray, brown roast on all sides
  2. Transfer to slow cooker
  3. Add water to the skillet, stirring to loosen any browned bits; pour over roast
  4. Sprinkle with seasoning blend, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder
  5. Top with apple and onion
  6. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or until the meat is tender
  7. Yield: 9 servings
