- 2 Packages Dry Yeast
- 1/2 Cup Warm Water
- 4 Cups Flour
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 3/4 Cup Butter
- 1/2 Cup Milk – scalded, cooled
- 2 Eggs – slightly beaten
Method
- Butter – melted
- Sprinkle yeast over water; stir to dissolve.
- Combine flour, sugar, and salt in large mixing bowl.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add combined milk, eggs, and yeast to dry ingredients; mix well.
- Brush with butter.
- Cover; chill overnight.
