Avocado Ice Cream Mexican Recipe
Ingredients
Recipe for: Helado de Aguacate
Makes ABOUT 1 QUART
- 3 ripe Hass avocados
- juice of 2 limes
- pinch of salt
- 1½ cups whole milk
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
Method
- Peel and pit the avocados
- Place the avocado flesh in a blender with the lime juice, salt, milk, and sugar
- Blend until smooth
- Freeze immediately in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions
