Ingredients
- ¼ cup (60 g) brown sugar
- 1 cup (235 ml) low-salt soy sauce
- ¼ cup (60 ml) sesame oil
- 2 tbsps (28 ml) olive oil
- 2 tbsps (28 ml) rice vinegar
- 2 tbsps (28 ml) lime juice
- 2 tbsps (20 g) minced garlic
- 2 tbsps (12 g) minced fresh ginger
- ½ teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 3 pounds (1.3 kg) country-style pork ribs
Method
- Stir together the brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, olive oil, rice vinegar, lime juice, garlic, ginger, and hot pepper sauce in the slow cooker
- Add the ribs; cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight
- Before cooking, drain marinade and discard
- Cook on low for 9 hours
- Yield: 9 servings
- Per serving: 28 g water; 104 calories (78% from fat, 6% from protein, 16% from carb)
