Air Fryer Reverse Seared Ribeye Recipe

Ingredients

SERVES 2.

  • 1 (8-ounce) ribeye steak
  • 1/2 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground peppercorn
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon salted butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

Method

  1. Rub steak with salt and ground peppercorn
  2. Place into the air fryer basket
  3. Adjust the temperature to 250°F and set the timer for 45 minutes
  4. After timer beeps, begin checking doneness and add a few minutes until internal temperature is your personal preference
  5. In a medium skillet over medium heat, add coconut oil
  6. When oil is hot, quickly sear outside and sides of steak until crisp and browned
  7. Remove from heat and allow steak to rest
  8. In a small bowl, whip butter with garlic powder, parsley, and oregano
  9. Slice steak and serve with herb butter on top
