Air Fryer Chocolate-Covered Maple Bacon Recipe
Ingredients
SERVES 2.
- 8 slices sugar-free bacon
- 1 tablespoon granular erythritol
- 1/3 cup low-carb, sugar-free chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon maple extract
Method
- Place bacon into the air fryer basket and sprinkle with erythritol
- Adjust the temperature to 350°F and set the timer for 12 minutes
- Turn bacon halfway through the cooking time
- Cook to desired doneness, checking at 9 minutes
- (Smaller air fryers will cook much faster
- When bacon is done, set aside to cool
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, place chocolate chips and coconut oil
- Microwave for 30 seconds and stir
- Add in maple extract
- Place bacon onto a sheet of parchment
- Drizzle chocolate over bacon and place in refrigerator to cool and harden, about 5 minutes
