Air Fryer Banging Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients

Serves 4

  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Sriracha
  • ½ cup panko crumbs
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp, prepared

Dipping Sauce

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha

Method

  1. In a shallow glass baking dish, mix together all ingredients except panko crumbs, shrimp and cooking spray
  2. Place panko bread crumbs in another shallow glass baking dish
  3. Dip each shrimp in batter then dip into panko to coat
  4. Place six shrimp in the basket and spritz with oil, then put the basket and pan into the AIR FRYER
  5. Set temperature to 400 degrees and timer for 10 minutes
  6. Shake basket halfway through
  7. Once cooking is complete, remove
  8. Repeat with remaining shrimp
  9. Mix the ingredients for the sauce in a large bowl
  10. Toss the cooked shrimp with the sauce and serve shrimp on a platter of shredded lettuce
