Air Fryer Aalu Samosa Recipe

Ingredients

  • 100g boiled and peeled Potato
  • 30g boiled Peas
  • 5g chopped Green chilli
  • 10g Coriander leaves
  • 15g Ghee
  • 5g Jeera (cumin seeds)
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp Chana masala
  • 5g Ajwain (aniseed)
  • 5ml and for brushing Oil
  • salt
  • water as needed

Method

  1. Rub ghee in the refined flour
  2. Add water, ajwain, salt and knead into a smooth dough
  3. Cover the dough and keep aside for 30 minutes
  4. Heat oil in a pan
  5. Add cumin seeds and allow them to crackle
  6. Add peas, turmeric powder, chana masala, green chilli and salt
  7. Mix well
  8. Add roughly chopped potatoes
  9. Sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves and remove from the gas
  10. Divide the dough into equal portions
  11. Roll out each portion into about 6 inch wide diameter
  12. Cut in half
  13. Make a cone and fill in the potato mixture
  14. Seal the edges by applying water
  15. Preheat the Airfryer for 5 minutes at 180oC
  16. Brush the samosas with oil
  17. Arrange the samosas in the Airfryer and cook at the same temperature for 18 minutes or until golden brown
