Ingredients
Makes about 2 1/2 cups
- 1 (12-ounce) bag fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sweetened dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup cranberry juice
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
Method
- In a large saucepan, combine all the ingredients and bring to a boil
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer until the sauce thickens, stirring occasionally, about 25 minutes
- Set aside to cool to room temperature, then transfer to a bowl to serve warm
- If serving chilled, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until needed
- Properly stored, this relish will keep for 3 to 4 days
