Ingredients
Makes 4 servings
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved lengthwise
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 or 4 small shallots, quartered lengthwise
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dillweed or 1 teaspoon dried
Method
- Steam the Brussels sprouts until just tender, about 7 minutes
- Set aside
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat
- Add the shallots and cook until softened, 5minutes
- Add the Brussels sprouts and season with salt and pepper to taste
- Cook until the shallots and Brussels sprouts become lightly browned, about 5 minutes
- Add the dillweed and stir to combine
- Serve immediately
