Roasted Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Ingredients

Makes 4 servings

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, halved lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F
  2. Lightly oil a baking sheet and set aside
  3. Steam the Brussels sprouts until just tender, about 5 minutes, then spread them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet
  4. Drizzle with oil and season with salt and pepper to taste
  5. Roast the Brussels sprouts until slightly browned, about 8 minutes
  6. Transfer to a serving bowl, add the lemon juice and toss gently to combine
  7. Serve immediately
