Ingredients
- ¼ cup melted coconut oil
- ¼ cup coconut milk
- 2 tbsp Swerve Confectioners
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp coconut aminos or organic
- tamari sauce (soy sauce).
- ½ tsp freshly grated ginger
- ½ tsp toasted sesame seeds
- ½ tsp orange oil/extract
- ¼ tsp fish sauce
- 1½ lbs. chicken legs or thighs
GARNISH:
- 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
- 4 green onions, sliced
Method
- Combine the sauce ingredients together in a bowl and mix well until smooth in consistency
- The sauce once prepared may separate if it is kept for too long
- Warm gently and whisk well to combine the sauce again
- Place the chicken legs or thighs in a baking dish and pour the sauce over the meat
- Cover the meat with an aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven (375F) for about 45-50 minutes
- Best to serve with pasta or Quest pasta as required
