Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken 3-5lbs
- 1 cup water or low sodium-low fat chicken stock
- 1 tsp herb de province
- clove garlic minced
- 1 small onion sliced
- 1/2 – 1 tsp sweet paprika
Method
- Place the onion in the crock pot
- Skin, and remove the fat on the chicken
- Place the chicken on top of the onion in the crock pot
- Pour the stock over the chicken and sprinkle with paprika, herbs and garlic
- Cook on a low heat setting until the leg of the chicken starts to pull away smoothly (Approx 5 to 8 hours)
