Crock Pot Ground Chicken And Brown Rice Slow Cooker Recipe
Ingredients
- 10oz. Can Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom 98%fat free,
- 16 oz Ground Chicken
- 14oz. Broth 100% fat free, 33% less sodium
- 1 Cup Mushrooms, fresh
- ½ Cup Celery, diced
- ½ Onions, chopped
- 1 Cup Fat free half and half
- 1 Cup Peas, frozen
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 3 cups prepared Brown Rice
Method
- In a saucepan brown the mushroom, chicken, celery, onion and pressed garlic
- Add the chicken mix, broth and cream of mushroom in the crock pot
- Cook; 3 to 3 ½ hours on a high heat setting
- Cook the rice 1 hour before serving
- Half an hour before serving add the cream to the crock pot
- Immediately before serving, add the peas to the pot
