Ingredients
- 3 pounds (1.3 kg) chicken thighs, skin removed
- 1¼ cups (425 g) honey
- 1 cup (235 ml) low-salt soy sauce
- ½ cup (120 g) low-salt ketchup
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) canola oil
- 2 tbsps (28 ml) sesame oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- ¼ cup (36 g) sesame seeds, toasted
Method
- Place chicken in slow cooker
- Combine remaining ingredients except sesame seeds
- Pour over chicken
- Cover and cook on low 5 hours or on high 2½ hours
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over top just before serving
- Yield: 8 servings
- Per serving: 171 g water; 467 calories (27% from fat, 30% from protein, 43% from carb)
