Sour Cream Meatballs Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (900 g) meatballs, basic or turkey
  • ¼ cup (31 g) flour
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 475 ml boiling water
  • ¾ cup (180 g) fat-free sour cream

Method

  1. Brown meatballs in skillet
  2. Reserve drippings and place meatballs in slow cooker
  3. Cover and cook on high 10 to 15 minutes
  4. Stir flour, garlic powder, pepper, and paprika into hot drippings in skillet
  5. Stir in water and sour cream
  6. Pour sour cream mixture over meatballs in slow cooker
  7. Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook 4 to 5 hours
  8. Yield: 6 servings
  9. Per serving: 195 g water; 386 calories (57% from fat, 28% from protein, 15% from carb)
  10. Serve over rice or noodles
