Ingredients
- 1 pound (900 g) meatballs, basic or turkey
- ¼ cup (31 g) flour
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 475 ml boiling water
- ¾ cup (180 g) fat-free sour cream
Method
- Brown meatballs in skillet
- Reserve drippings and place meatballs in slow cooker
- Cover and cook on high 10 to 15 minutes
- Stir flour, garlic powder, pepper, and paprika into hot drippings in skillet
- Stir in water and sour cream
- Pour sour cream mixture over meatballs in slow cooker
- Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook 4 to 5 hours
- Yield: 6 servings
- Per serving: 195 g water; 386 calories (57% from fat, 28% from protein, 15% from carb)
- Serve over rice or noodles
