Ingredients
- pork loin chops
- 1 cup (160 g) sliced onion
- 2 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1 tbsp (15 g) brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Method
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and coat with cooking spray
- Quickly brown the pork chops on each side
- Set aside
- Arrange onion slices, then the apple slices in slow cooker
- Sprinkle brown sugar, nutmeg, and pepper over the apples
- Place the pork chops on top
- Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours
- Yield: 4 servings
- Per serving: 165 g water; 191 calories (21% from fat, 46% from protein, 33% from carb)
