Ingredients
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
- pork loin chops
- 320 g chopped onion
- 355 ml beer
- 1 tsp thyme
Method
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown chops on both sides
- Place onions in slow cooker and then place chops over top
- Combine beer and thyme and pour over chops
- Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours
- Yield: 6 servings
- Per serving: 174 g water; 195 calories (34% from fat, 50% from protein, 16% from carb)
