Ingredients
- 4 pounds (1.8 kg) beef round steak
- 800 g stuffing, prepared according to package directions
- 20 ounces (560 g) low-salt cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups 475 ml water
Method
- Cut steak into 12 long pieces
- Pound each piece until thin and flattened
- Place 1/3 cup (65 g) prepared stuffing on each slice of meat
- Roll up and fasten with toothpick
- Place in slow cooker
- In a bowl, mix soup and water together and then pour over steak
- Cover and cook on high 4 to 6 hours or until meat is tender but not overcooked
- Yield: 12 servings
- Per serving: 231 g water; 335 calories (32% from fat, 46% from protein, 22% from carb)
