Ingredients
- 4 cans kidney beans
- 3 ham hocks
- 2 qts. water
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 4 sticks Polish sausage, sliced
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. coarse chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp. garlic salt
- 1 tbsp. black pepper
Method
- Put above ingredients in large covered pan and cook 1 hour at 350 degrees or on top of stove, stir once or twice
- Add 6 cups or 1 whole cabbage, shredded, 7 to 8 carrots, sliced and 8 to 9 potatoes, diced
- Cook about 30 minutes until carrots are cooked
- Turn on warm until served
