Soft-Cooked Eggs With Chili-Infused Honey Recipe

Ingredients

Serves 6

  • 6-10 dried chili peppers
  • 1 cup honey
  • 6 large eggs

Method

  1. Place chili peppers into a glass jar or measuring cup
  2. Warm the honey in a saucepan over medium heat until it is liquefied or until candy thermometer reaches 180° F
  3. Pour the warm honey over the chilies
  4. Allow to cool to room temperature and cover for 12-24 hours to allow the peppers to infuse
  5. Strain the peppers out of the honey
  6. Store the honey in a tightly covered sterilized jar in a cool dry place
  7. Prepare the soft-cooked eggs according to your preferred method and drizzle with honey to serve
