- 2 slices cheap white bread
- butter, at room temperature (optional)
- sugar-superfine (caster) sugar or light brown sugar is suitable spread 1 slice of bread with butter, if you like
Method
- Sprinkle the sugar onto the buttered bread as liberally as desired
- Sandwich together with the second slice of bread and eat
