Ingredients
Makes as many as you have herrings
- dutch soused herring fillets
- soft white hot dog-style buns, split open
- finely chopped onion
- slices of sweet gherkin pickles or dill pickles
Method
- Add 2 herring fil ets to each bun
- Sprinkle over some chopped onion and add slices of sweet gherkin pickles
- Serve at once
