Ingredients
Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
Filling:
- 5 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup peanut butter chips
- 1 cup (6 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips
Topping:
- 1 cup (8 oz.) sour cream
- 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup finely chopped unsalted peanuts
Method
- Preheat oven to 350F
- In a medium bowl, combine pretzels and butter
- Press into the bottom and 1 inch up the sides of a greased 9 inch springform pan
- Bake for 5 minutes
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth
- Mix in peanut butter and vanilla
- Add eggs until just combined
- Stir in both chips
- Pour into the crust
- Bake for 50 to 55 minutes, until center is almost set
- Remove from oven to cool for 15 minutes
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine sour cream, peanut butter and sugar
- Spread over cheesecake and sprinkle with nuts
- Bake for 5 additional minutes
- Cool completely, cover and chill overnight
