Cut Green Beans And Water Chestnuts Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 4
  • 10 ounces frozen cut green beans
  • 1 can water chestnuts – undrained and – sliced (8 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1 Bouillon cube – chicken or beef
  • 1 tablespoon margarine

Method

  1. Cook vegetables according to package directions until tender crisp
  2. Drain and reserve liquid.
  3. To the water chestnuts liquid add enough vegetable water to make 1 cup of liquid.
  4. Stir in corn starch until smooth.
  5. In saucepan mix together green beans, water chestnuts, liquid and bouillon.
  6. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  7. Stir in margarine.
