Ingredients
- Serving Size : 4
- 10 ounces frozen cut green beans
- 1 can water chestnuts – undrained and – sliced (8 oz)
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1 Bouillon cube – chicken or beef
- 1 tablespoon margarine
Method
- Cook vegetables according to package directions until tender crisp
- Drain and reserve liquid.
- To the water chestnuts liquid add enough vegetable water to make 1 cup of liquid.
- Stir in corn starch until smooth.
- In saucepan mix together green beans, water chestnuts, liquid and bouillon.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Stir in margarine.
