Jiffy Fruit Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 1
  • 9 ounces mincemeat
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 package white cake mix – prepared as directed
  • 1/2 cup english walnuts

Method

  1. Powdered sugar glaze – see recipe
  2. Soften dry mincemeat with warm water.
  3. Prepare cake mix according to package directions, blend in softened mincemeat, stir in walnuts, pour into greased 9″ square cake pan.
  4. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for about 40 minutes.
  5. While still warm decorate cake with English Walnuts halves and drizzle with powdered sugar glaze.
