Turkey Or Chicken Tetrazzini Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 cup sliced turkey or chicken
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cup chicken / turkey broth
  • 1/2 cup caned siced mushrooms
  • 1 cup light cr.or evap.milk
  • 1 8 ounce pack pasta
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method

  1. MELT BUTTER IN SKILLET AND ADD MUSHROOMS AND COOK FOR 2 MINUTES.
  2. ADD FLOUR,BROTH,CREAM,SALT,PEPPER.
  3. COOK OVER LOW HEAT,STIRRING UNTIL THICKENED.
  4. BUTTER A 2 QUART CASSEROLE DISH,IN A LARGE BOWL MIX TURKEY AND MUSHROOM CREAM MIXTURE TOGETHER WITH SPAGHETTI.
  5. PUT 1/2 OF THE CHEESE IN WI THIS MIXTURE.
  6. PUT INTO CASSEROLE DISH AND SPRINKLE REST OF CHEESE ON TOP.
  7. BA IN 400 degrees OVEN FOR 20 MINUTES OR UNTIL HOT AND BUBBLY.
  8. CAN BE MADE IN ADVANCE AND FROZEN.
  9. YIELD 8 SREVINGS.
