Ingredients

- 1/2 cup sweet butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 egg whites
- 3/4 cup flour – sifted
Method
- Cream the butter with sugar.
- Add vanilla and egg whites, and beat well.
- Add flour, and mix it in well.
- Put dough into cookie press and press thru wide round opening to make pencil-shaped cookies.
- Place them, far apart, on a cold, buttered cookie sheet.
- Bake in preheated 400 F oven for 7 to 8 min Watch carefully to prevent their burning
