Coconut Custard Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 68
  • 2 cup hot water
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 4 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

  1. Combine water and coconut.
  2. Let stand for 20 minutes.
  3. Blend at high speed for a few seconds.
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients.
  5. Blend till well mixed.
  6. Pour into a greased glass dish.
  7. Bake at 350F for 60-70 minutes.
  8. Cool on a wire rack and then chill in the fridge.
