Keto Orange-Rosemary Lamb Steak Recipe

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (225 g) lamb leg steak
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1 teaspoon Splenda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground rosemary

Method

  1. Slash the edges of the lamb steak to keep it from curling
  2. Put a big, heavy skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil and butter, swirling them together as the butter melts
  3. Add the lamb steak and cook it about 5 to 6 minutes per side
  4. Remove to serving plate
  5. While the lamb steak is cooking, stir together the lemon juice, orange extract, and Splenda
  6. When you’ve removed the steak from the skillet, add the lemon juice mixture and stir it around, scraping up the browned bits from the bottom of the skillet
  7. Stir in the rosemary and let the whole thing simmer for a moment or two
  8. Pour this sauce over the lamb steak and serve
