Gluten Free Masala Lentils Indian Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serves: 8
  • 2 1/4 cups brown lentils
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 15 oz can tomatoes, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 2 tsp tamarind paste
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 3/4 tsp salt

Method

  1. Add all ingredients except coconut milk into the slow cooker and stir well.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  3. Stir in coconut milk and serve.
