Ingredients
Servings : 12 muffins.
- 1½ cups almond milk
- ½ cup applesauce
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 pinch salt
Method
- Mix the almond milk with the vinegar and applesauce
- Stir in the flours, followed by the baking soda, chia seeds, cinnamon powder, and salt
- Fold in the walnuts then spoon the batter into your muffin cups
- Bake the muffins in a preheated oven at 350°F for 20-30 minutes or until fragrant and golden brown
- Allow the muffins to cool before serving
