Crock Pot Chicken Wild Rice Soup Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 3 cups water
- 1 14 – oz. can reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1 10 3/4 – oz. can reduced-fat and
- reduced-sodium condensed cream of
- chicken soup
- 2/3 cup uncooked wild rice, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme, crushed
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 3 cups chopped cooked chicken or turkey (about 1 lb.)
- 2 cups shredded fresh spinach
Method
- Use a 4 quart cooker and pour the water in, along with the broth, chicken soup, raw rice, thyme, and seasoning
- Place the lid on, and switch to low for 8hrs, or high for 4hrs
- Finish with adding the chicken and spinach
