Apple Cranberry Pork Roast Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) canola oil
- 3 pounds (1.3 kg) pork loin roast
- 475 ml apple juice
- 330 g sliced apples
- 1 cup (100 g) cranberries
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Method
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat
- Brown roast on all sides
- Place in slow cooker
- Add remaining ingredients
- Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours
- Yield: 8 servings
- Per serving: 225 g water; 288 calories (29% from fat, 51% from protein, 20% from carb)
